Wheelchair users

o ensure the best possible experience for wheelchair users, please book your visit in advance on weekdays (Mon–Fri, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM) by calling +372 511 1732 or emailing bron@tervisemuuseum.ee. Without a prior booking, we may not be able to accommodate you.

Our exhibitions are located in themed rooms on the second and third floors of the building. For a better visiting experience, we recommend that wheelchair users arrive with an accompanying person. Admission to the museum is free of charge for individuals with severe or profound disabilities and their companions.

An accessibility lift (wheelchair lift) is available for moving between the floors. Due to the historical layout of the building, the lift can only accommodate narrow-frame wheelchairs. The width of the lift platform is 59.5 cm, and a wheelchair with a total width of up to 60.5 cm can manage the turns on the stairwells. The museum has a narrow-frame wheelchair on-site, and if needed, our staff can assist with transferring between chairs and operating the lift. The internal seat width of the museum’s wheelchair is 42 cm.
