Just a century ago death used to be a natural part of life but nowadays it is little understood and perceived as a distant phenomenon. This exhibition aimed to show death as a natural part of life not to be feared or mystified.
The exhibition explained how and why people die and clarified what changes happen to our bodies after death and also pointed out the ethical side of treating the dead.
The topics of funerals, grief, remembering of the deceased were presented. Different specialists that study death, music or bugs, morticians, and people around us gave their point of view. The visitors were able to listen to funeral music, try out our digital-autopsy table and see different items linked to death and grief.
